As with everything else about this adaptable venue there are several ways to make your big entrance. Arrive by boat as you glide up the Hastings River to the wharf and enter the property through the bushland setting. Or drop out of the sky by Helicopter as the venue has room to spare and could almost land a commercial plane. Of course there is always the conventional arrival by car. Cross the rustic wooden bridge and pull up at the door allowing you to sweep into the main hall.
The stained glass chapel area lends itself to having the ceremony held inside but the bushland setting outside can be an equally tempting spot to do the deed. Even the verandah at the back overlooking the lawns has enough charm to attract your eye when selecting the spot to hold the ceremony and once the formal part of the day is over, the photo opportunities of the Old Butter Factory are endless.
The building can seat 150 diners, but if you require more, the grounds can easily accommodate them and the possibilities are endless as a marquee can be arranged, removing any limitation to your guests numbers.
As for the food, you can ask us to cater or use your won professional caterer, whichever you prefer. Whatever you want we can arrange. We specialise in Oven Roasts offering generous hot roasted meals, but also offer finger foods, stunning cold buffets or full a la carte dining with our commercial kitchens able to cater most meal options and with a choice of "self serve" buffet or full table service everything is possible at the Old Butter Factory.
